My parents got a hotel room for a couple nights when they were here for Christmas. They did this for a few reasons. 1) It was free, 2) they wanted to let the kids swim, and 3) they let the 3 oldest kids spend the night with them to give Will and I a little bit of a break. They all get to stay up late watching a movie, eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream (Chunky Monkey)in bed and snuggle with Grandma and Grandpa. I loved the break but was also a little jealous of my kids. Doesn't that sound SO fun? Well, here are some pictures of my kids swimming in the hotel pool with G & G.

Collin got in but just cried the whole time to get out. Instead of swimming he sat next to me and watched the rest of them. I loved the way he was holding his feet together so I had to take a picture and share.
Bradley can't quite float on his back yet but here he is practicing:
It was such a fun time for my kids and we are all so sad that my parents aren't here anymore. Oh how I wish we lived closer to them. They bring so much joy to our lives.

Chunky Monkey! The first (and only) time I had that was in AZ when visiting your family so many years ago. Mmm...banana ice cream with chocolate and walnuts. Am I remembering right? So good! Glad you guys had fun with your parents. Two of my favorite people, for sure. :)
I'm so glad you found me in the world of BLOG! Now I can keep track of your family as well! You have beautiful children! Geoff and I are excited for our little girl to arrive in 4 weeks!
