Grocery stores and Washers/Dryers

Yesterday was a bad day. We have all been super sick for at least three weeks and everyone was finally on the mend- except for some lingering coughs. Then Collin woke up yesterday with a fever, sore throat, croupy cough, and diarrhea. I was so frustrated! I'm sure this one will go through the entire family, too. Yeah, I know- just in time for my parents, sister and nephews to come to my house for Thanksgiving. Lame! So my Facebook post yesterday was this:

"It's days like this that I have a hard time being thankful. I will think of something tomorrow for my gratitude today. I'm going to bed."

Well, this morning I woke up and tried my hardest to have a better attitude because it is what it is, right? So, here is my Facebook statues today:

"Yesterday I was thankful for grocery stores- I just didn't know it. I am thankful that we can drive to a store and buy whatever we need to make our favorite meals to fill our favorite peoples bellies. Today, I have laundry to do. I can't imagine having to hand wash everything for a family of six! That would be at least 10 gigantic loads of laundry a week- to hand wash? Psh!!!! So, today I am thankful for washing machines and dryers."

So there you go. Hopefully we can all wash our hands enough to not pass this one around. I really, really can't afford to be sick this week- especially since I have only been fully recovered from my last 3 week illness for just 2 days. Yuck! And I would feel awful to give any illnesses to my relatives who are visiting us this week. Crossing our fingers and saying some prayers...
